Why I'm Running

I’m running for re-election to the Mammoth Lakes Town Council to carry forward the experience I’ve gained from my first two terms and to ensure that continuity for the Town’s current forward-looking momentum is maintained over the next four years.

Rooted not only in my community service and experience on Town Council, my reasons for running are also tied to our shared vision for the future as articulated in the Town’s General Plan and the Town Council’s current priorities.

• Campaign to approve Measure R for Trails, Parks and Recreation - Led and funded by MLTPA, approved by voters June 3, 2008
• Campaign to approve Measure U for Mobility, Recreation, and Arts and Culture – Campaign Manager, approved by voters June 8, 2010
• Eastern Sierra Recreation Collaborative (ESRC) to Inform Update of Inyo National Forest Management Plan – Led and funded by MLTPA and National Forest Foundation 2014 / 2016, final Inyo NF Management Plan approved and in effect November 2019
• Sustainable Recreation and Tourism Initiative (SRTI) – Grant application written by MLTPA and submitted by Town of Mammoth Lakes on behalf of regional partners and funded by Sierra Nevada Conservancy; MLTPA served as lead contractor July 2019 / January 2022
